The Opportunity
This is a 9-month fixed term contract where you’ll step into a critical role shaping how our Workday Finance platform comes together.
You won’t just gather requirements. You’ll help design the solution end to end, working closely with Finance, Technology and our implementation partner to bring it to life.
It’s a high impact role with real ownership. You’ll have a voice in decisions, influence how things are built, and help ensure the platform is fit for the future.
What you will be doing:
As our Workday Business Analyst, you’ll sit at the centre of the finance transformation leading how business requirements translate into a working Workday solution.
You will:
Own end to end solution design across Workday Financials, with a focus on fund accounting and financial workflows
Map Acurity to Workday transaction flows ensuring full traceability through to the general ledger
Design Accounting Centre rules for automated journals including account derivation, allocations and intercompany logic
Capture and shape requirements across tax, GST and regulatory reporting
Define and validate Prism Analytics data models for reporting and APRA submissions
Lead integration thinking across fund platforms, payroll, banking and reporting tools
Review and challenge solution designs from the SI partner to ensure quality and alignment
Support UAT, change and training so Finance teams can adopt new ways of working
What you’ll bring:
Must have experience as a BA across finance or ERP implementations, ideally with Workday HCM, Workday Payroll, or Workday Financials
Experience owning or shaping solution design not just documenting requirements
Hands on exposure to Workday Accounting Centre or similar journal automation tools
Solid financial accounting knowledge including GL, journals, tax and close
Experience working across integrations, data flows and reconciliations
Exposure to APRA regulated environments or financial services
Confidence engaging senior stakeholders across Finance and Technology
A practical mindset with the ability to bridge business needs and technical delivery
