About Netwealth

Netwealth isn't just a company. We're shaping the future of wealth in Australia. Our award-winning platform and NextGen technology empower advisers and investors to achieve more, and we're proud to be recognised as one of Australia's most innovative FinTech businesses.

Since 1999, we've grown rapidly by challenging the status quo. We move fast, think big, and stay agile. Free from unnecessary bureaucracy so we can deliver smarter solutions for our clients and create real impact.

But what truly sets us apart? Our people. We're a team of curious, optimistic and courageous individuals who collaborate to make life better for more Australians. We value authenticity, and agility, and we believe in creating an environment where you can do your best work, grow your career, and feel part of something meaningful.

If you're looking for a place where your ideas matter, where innovation is celebrated, and where you can help shape a brighter financial future, join us at Netwealth.

The opportunity

As the Product Manager for Agent Intelligence, you'll own the roadmap and direction for a growing portfolio that currently includes Enterprise Intelligence and Adviser Search, while helping establish reusable foundations for future agentic solutions.

You'll define the knowledge and ontology models that agentic capabilities reason over, determine how users consume intelligence, and establish the evidence required for capabilities to operate with increasing autonomy.

Working alongside engineers and technical specialists, you'll make informed product decisions across retrieval, grounding, orchestration and governed AI delivery without needing to be hands on yourself.

Success will come from balancing innovation with governance, helping teams move quickly while ensuring intelligent systems remain transparent, trusted and fit for purpose.

What you'll be doing

  • Owning and evolving the roadmap for Agent Intelligence products and capabilities

  • Leading discovery, problem definition and prioritisation to ensure focus remains on the highest value opportunities

  • Designing and maintaining knowledge models, ontologies and semantic structures that can be reused across multiple capabilities

  • Partnering with engineers on product trade offs relating to retrieval, grounding, orchestration and agent design

  • Defining and governing autonomy levels for agentic capabilities, ensuring decisions are evidence based and reversible

  • Establishing clear product metrics, OKRs and adoption measures to demonstrate business value

  • Working closely with Architecture, Risk, Compliance and Data Governance teams to ensure governance stays ahead of delivery

  • Supporting teams across the organisation to safely build on shared agentic foundations

  • Representing the product portfolio with senior stakeholders and contributing to Netwealth's product practice

About you

You'll be an experienced Product Manager with a technical background and a track record of delivering data, platform or AI products that create meaningful business outcomes.

You'll bring strong commercial judgement, enjoy solving complex problems, and be comfortable operating in an emerging space where the answers aren't always obvious.

You'll also have:

  • Experience in information architecture, ontology design, taxonomy development, knowledge modelling or semantic layer design

  • Practical understanding of LLM based systems, including retrieval, grounding, agent orchestration, tool use and evaluation

  • Strong product management capability across discovery, delivery, measurement and continuous improvement

  • Exposure to cloud platforms, data engineering, analytics and modern data environments

  • Understanding of governance, privacy, risk and entitlement controls within regulated environments

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence and Miro
