The opportunity
The Team Leader plays a pivotal role in driving adviser experience, team performance, and commercial outcomes. You’ll lead a high‑performing group of TRMs, build strong external partnerships, and contribute to strategies that increase netflows, boost Funds Under Advice (FUA) and grow revenue.

What You’ll Be Doing
Leadership & Team Development
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Training & Relationship Managers to deliver exceptional adviser service.
Set clear performance expectations and equip the team with tools, training, and support to succeed.
Manage onboarding, ongoing coaching, and professional development of team members.
Adviser & Market Engagement
Build and strengthen relationships with advisers, licensees, and key dealer groups.
Act as a senior escalation and support point for complex adviser queries.
Promote Netwealth’s products, services, and value proposition with confidence.
Commercial & Strategic Contribution
Contribute to regional sales strategy, pipeline development, and overall business planning.
Work closely with the Sales Leadership Group to align team initiatives with company objectives.
Monitor industry trends to identify opportunities for product, service, and training enhancements.
Operational Excellence
Oversee accurate use of Netwealth systems (including Microsoft Dynamics) within the TRM team.
Support development of training programs that reflect adviser and industry needs.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and the Group Fraud Policy.
Drive process improvements that enhance service delivery and reduce risk.
What You’ll Bring
Proven leadership experience in sales, account management, or adviser relationship roles, ideally within financial services.
Strong understanding of the Australian financial advice landscape.
Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams to achieve exceptional outcomes.
Extensive platform and market knowledge
RG146 compliance (required)
Willingness to travel interstate to support business needs.
Strong knowledge of Netwealth products
