About Netwealth

Netwealth isn't just a company. We're shaping the future of wealth in Australia. Our award-winning platform and NextGen technology empower advisers and investors to achieve more, and we're proud to be recognised as one of Australia's most innovative FinTech businesses.

Since 1999, we've grown rapidly by challenging the status quo. We move fast, think big, and stay agile. Free from unnecessary bureaucracy so we can deliver smarter solutions for our clients and create real impact.

But what truly sets us apart? Our people. We're a team of curious, optimistic and courageous individuals who collaborate to make life better for more Australians. We value authenticity, and agility, and we believe in creating an environment where you can do your best work, grow your career, and feel part of something meaningful.

If you're looking for a place where your ideas matter, where innovation is celebrated, and where you can help shape a brighter financial future, join us at Netwealth.

The Opportunity:

Netwealth is making a deliberate, long-term investment in the broking channel as part of our broader Private Wealth and Private Banking strategy. The appointment of a National Sales Director – Broking reflects our continuing investment to support Australia’s leading broking firms

In this newly created, senior leadership role, you will define and lead Netwealth’s sales strategy in this channel, shaping our go-to-market approach and ongoing strategy, and representing Netwealth at the most senior levels of the market. You’ll engage directly with C-suite leaders, while also spending meaningful time in-market with advisers and brokers across Victoria and New South Wales, building advocacy.

While Netwealth has a strong reputation and existing relationships, this channel is not yet fully established therefore this is a hunting role. You’ll build the book, open doors, and convert long-term strategic conversations into sustainable partnerships, supported by clear investment signals from Netwealth, including the launch of iHIN and our broader capability roadmap.

You’ll also play a critical internal role: acting as the bridge between market realities and Netwealth’s product, operations, and leadership teams. Your insights will directly influence how our broking proposition evolves over time. Success in the first 12 months will be measured through a combination of revenue, net flows, and the establishment of a high-quality book of business.

Please note: this role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne, with national responsibility and regular time spent in the field.

About you;

You are a senior commercial leader with deep experience in the broking ecosystem and a well-established national network. You understand how broking firms operate, commercially, culturally, and strategically. You bring the credibility and gravitas to operate confidently with executive leadership teams.

Importantly, you build trust, influence through insight, and work collaboratively. You know how to advocate strongly and you align naturally with a values-led organisation.

You will likely bring:

  • Deep, hands-on experience in the broking market, with a strong understanding of broker and adviser pain points

  • A proven network across broking firms and senior industry stakeholders, with the ability to open doors quickly

  • Strong commercial acumen, including experience navigating complex deal dynamics and long sales cycles at enterprise level

  • The ability to operate effectively both top-down (C-suite strategy conversations) and bottom-up (in-field engagement and advocacy)

  • Enough platform and technology understanding to credibly articulate how Netwealth fits, while being curious and capable of building deeper product knowledge at pace

  • An appetite to help shape what this channel becomes, contributing to product discovery, proposition refinement, and go-to-market evolution

Life At Netwealth
