The Role is a Brisbane base in Australia, which offers a 5/2 roster.
We are currently seeking an experienced Technical Specialist - Long Term Planning to join our Planning team based at Brisbane during an exciting period of transformation. Reporting to the Manager Planning- Brisbane Operations. You will contribute to the development of long-term production plans into integrated Lihir Gold Operations (LGO) optimized plans, inclusive of supply and value chain constraints, to deliver long term value from current and potential resources.
Your responsibilities to ensure all Legislative, company and personal HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) systems, plans and requirements are met ensuring no fatalities and significant progress is made towards zero harm. Ensure development of leaders through formal feedback, career development, coaching and training opportunities. Contribute to the development of Resource and Reserves from current and future ore sources.
To succeed in this role, you will be safety focused, team oriented and enjoy continuous improvement and driving for results. You will have experience in a similar role within large scale mineral processing plants, ideally with exposure to; will essentially have a Tertiary bachelor's degree in mining engineering with 5 years plus mining/exploration industry experience.
