Cadia Valley Operations is located in Central Western New South Wales, approximately 25 kms outside the vibrant regional township of Orange and a convenient three hours from the capital city of Sydney. Who we’re looking for:

Reporting to the Superintendent – Supply & Logistics, The Senior Inventory Analyst will provide supply and logistics support to operational and maintenance departments. You will also manage and monitor inventory levels consistent with the principles of good inventory control utilising demand management tools operated by Cadia Valley Operations.

In addition, The Senior Inventory Analyst will monitor and manage inventory levels resulting from planned or unplanned usage using operated software to plan replenishment activities.

You will assist and oversee the handling of inventory-related issues including the use of software to plan and analyse purchases and delivery schedules in addition to coordinating stock counts.

Other Responsibilities include:

  • Analysing and maintaining inventory levels using demand management tools available.
  • Optimising inventory to reduce inventory outages and ensure internal order fill rate objectives are met and exceeded.
  • Ensuring demand management tools are used correctly to right size inventory levels and improve inventory turn rates.
  • Provide inventory control reports as required, inventory usage, inventory turn rates, inventory gains and losses.
  • Maintain count accuracy (digital and physical counting) lead inventory count efforts and investigations for discrepancies as discovered.

You will also possess the following:

  • Significant experience in Supply and Warehousing – Mining industry preferred.
  • Management in mining, construction or manufacturing industries or related areas.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Logistics and Supply Chain or relevant discipline – highly regarded.
  • SAP Warehouse Management Experience
  • IBM Inventory Optimiser Experience
