About the role
Network Architect is to design network and cloud infrastructure to support the organisation's requirements. This role involves ensuring the performance, security, scalability and reliability of network infrastructure.
Key responsibilities of this role are: (but not limited to)
- Design resilient network infrastructure which enhances operational efficiency and scalability through effective management of network technologies.
- Design network solutions within Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud & on-premise environments.
- Integrate traditional on-premise networking components with cloud services and platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Design network monitoring platform, identifying and addressing issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Leverage network monitoring tools to assist with network infrastructure capacity planning.
- Develop and maintain detailed design documentation, including architecture diagrams
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate network and cloud solutions with existing systems and applications.
About You
As the successful candidate will have:
- Ability to Design, implement, and manage network solutions on Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud environments
- Integrate traditional on-premises networking components with cloud services and platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Design network monitoring and cloud performance platform, identifying and addressing issues to ensure high availability and reliability
- Collaborate with key business stakeholders to ensure network architecture aligns with business requirements
- Expertise in configuring and managing network devices and cloud platforms
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 2+ (should this be more?) years of experience in a solution or network architecture role
