About the role He Aha Te Tūranga
This role oversees the ongoing expansion and maintenance of nib’s First Choice network, and works across the business, developing a better outcome for our members.
You will be working with a portfolio of health partners (including private hospitals), promoting nib benefits, negotiating pricing and conditions, and creating and reviewing analytical reports.
This includes:
Liaising with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally, building relationships, assessing health services, and analysing cost.
Collecting and interpreting data across nib’s providers to enhance the First Choice Network (FCN).
Leading a small team to who share a similar passion and collaborate to achieve shared KPI’s and outcomes.
About you Ko Wai Koe
You are a health sector expert who has knowledge of private health insurance. In addition to this your skills and experience include:
Strong analytical skills and computer literacy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A high level of attention to detail and excellent time management.
The ability to work as part of a team and positively influence and lead others.
The ability to take ownership of problems and make sound decisions.
Preferably you have previously held a clinical role or similar which has given you extensive knowledge and understanding of the health industry.
