Northrop Grumman Australia partners with the Royal Australian Air Force to provide through-life support for its fleet of C-27J Spartan Airlifter aircraft. The C-27J complements the Australian Defence Force’s existing Air Mobility fleet and provides airlift of people, equipment and supplies to support Humanitarian Disaster Relief and crisis response in Australia and nearby regions.

Your Role

We are seeking to appoint a new Crew Leader with extensive C27J platform experience to join our leadership team. Your duties will include:

  • Leading a team of 5-15 direct reports
  • Planning of day-to-day maintenance
  • Perform, supervise and certify maintenance actions and Independent Maintenance Inspections as a DASA B1 or B2 licence holder
  • Assist BML to manage allocated team and resources in accordance with schedules, to deliver on-time serviceable aircraft

About You

To be successful in this position you will:

  • Hold a DASA issued B1 or B2 Licence in addition to the C27J type course.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience in aircraft maintenance
    certification and supervision
  • Strong understanding of maintenance planning
