Whether it's commercialising the world's first plant-based omega-3, launching precision agricultural solutions, unlocking biomass oils for more sustainable fuels and fast-moving consumer goods, or delivering the innovative crop and seed solutions farmers depend on every day, Nufarm is evolving with agriculture to drive value for customers.

Your Future, Fuelled by Transformation

We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Execution Manager to join our Manufacturing team based in Laverton North.

Reporting to the Engineering & Maintenance Lead, you'll be responsible for leading the site maintenance execution team and ensuring the safe, efficient and compliant delivery of all planned, preventative, predictive and breakdown maintenance activities across our Major Hazard Facility. Working closely with Operations, Planning, Reliability and Engineering, you'll play a critical role in maintaining asset integrity, improving plant performance and delivering successful shutdown and turnaround programs.

What's in it for you?

  • Access to Share Plan (Shares in Nufarm!)
  • Attractive salary and benefits package
  • Opportunity to lead critical maintenance and reliability initiatives
  • Flexible hybrid working arrangements and ability to work for a proudly Australian AgriChem business!
  • Join a collaborative and safety-focused leadership team
  • Career growth within a global organisation committed to innovation and continuous improvement

How You'll Help Us Grow

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing maintenance team, creating a culture built on safety, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive asset reliability and operational performance by overseeing preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance across the site.
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, Reliability, and Planning teams to maximise plant availability, optimise maintenance outcomes, and support business growth.
  • Champion shutdowns, turnarounds, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with performance and compliance expectations while leveraging your extensive technical leadership experience.
  • Bring your experience working in unionised and chemical manufacturing environments to help drive safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations while fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Lead by example through strong leadership, clear communication, and effective collaboration, helping build a high-performing culture that empowers teams to achieve operational excellence.
  • Leverage your knowledge of CMMS platforms (MEX preferred) and maintenance best practices, including Permit to Work, LOTO, and JSEA processes, to enhance asset reliability, safety, and continuous improvement across the site.

Could This Be You?

You're a highly experienced maintenance leader (10+ years) with a strong engineering background and a proven track record of delivering safe, reliable and efficient maintenance outcomes in complex manufacturing or process industry environments. A hands-on and visible leader, you thrive on leading frontline teams, driving operational performance and managing maintenance execution, shutdowns, turnarounds and asset integrity programs.

With an Engineering degree (and preferably holding a Charted Engineer status) and experience leading unionised workforces, supervisors, tradespeople and contractors, you're equally comfortable hands on in the plant and engaging with senior stakeholders. You're passionate about safety, developing people and delivering results in high-risk environments. Experience within a Major Hazard Facility (MHF), chemical manufacturing or other high-hazard industries, together with knowledge of Safety Case requirements and process safety management, leading a unionised site team will be highly regarded
