We know that being well supported enables us to thrive and better partner with our customers. It’s because of this that we’re looking for an engaging Business Support person to join our team based in Laverton North.

In this role, you’ll support the business with a variety of administrative activities as a member of the wider Business Support team, which could include activities anywhere from organising events to assisting with project coordination for various departments within our Australian business. In addition, you’ll also lead our front of house Reception. In this dynamic role, no two days will be the same and we are committed to evolving the role to offer true career growth for you!

What will you be doing?

• Managing reception, including all associated tasks: collecting and distributing mail and courier items, ensuring that callers and visitors are assisted in a timely, effective and efficient manner, ensuring all visitors to site are safely inducted using our RapidInduct system.

• Partnering with various departments within our Australian business across administrative tasks with opportunity for growth in this space.

• Completing a variety of business support activities including things such as coordinating events, meetings, road shows and annual internal events.

• General administrative activities such as data entry, document formatting and developing presentations and assisting senior stakeholders.

• Processing purchase orders and checking associated invoices

• Adhering to safe and collaborative working practices by actively working as a part of the Nufarm community to create a positive and harmonious environment by living our R.A.R.E values and One Nufarm behaviours

What do you bring?

You’re a proactive and organised reception, admin or customer service professional who brings demonstrated experience operating in corporate environments. You’re comfortable using Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint and you also enjoy learning new technologies. You’re an engaging and confident communicator and you have strong written and presentation skills.

You’re passionate about interacting with a diverse group of people each day and providing the best possible customer experience within a global head office setting. You’re naturally curious and enjoy being exposed to a variety of tasks and the opportunity to learn new things. You’re comfortable working autonomously, but also enjoy being a part of a wider, collaborative team and most importantly looking for a career with us!
