Our role:
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Sydney or Wellington and help shape the next chapter of our cloud-first SaaS platform. At Objective, we build technology that empowers government and community organisations to make better decisions, deliver better services, and create stronger outcomes. Your work will directly contribute to that mission.
In this role, you’ll design, develop, and deliver high-quality SaaS software systems, applying your strengths in analysis, design, programming, and testing. You’ll play a key role in our transition to an AWS-hosted platform, ensuring our products remain modern, scalable, and secure.
You’ll bring deep experience in .NET, MSSQL, JavaScript, and AWS to build new features, resolve complex customer issues, and continuously improve how we engineer our products. You’ll work closely with a collaborative, cross-functional team and contribute to a culture where quality, learning, and innovation are part of everyday work.
This role reports to the Development Manager and does not include people management responsibilities. Your impact comes from your expertise, leadership in craft, and your ability to influence technical direction.
