Your New Role

Location: Carrapateena, South Australia (60-minute flight from Adelaide / 30-minute flight from Port Augusta)
Roster: 8 days on; 6 days off
Employment Type: Permanent. Multiple roles available

How You Will Create Impact

  • Supporting the implementation of UG Infrastructure and Operational Technology projects.
  • Installation of underground electrical and communication reticulation systems.
  • Resolution of operational incidents and problems with new and existing OT systems and services.
  • Develop and execute maintenance activities and processes to ensure the ongoing reliability of OT systems and services.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance existing OT systems and services to optimise efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support the coordination of 3rd party suppliers and vendors in the delivery of OT systems and services.
  • Regularly engage with key OT users to evaluate system performance and accuracy.
  • Update and maintain standard procedures, drawings and documentation in a timely manner.

What We Value

  • C Class Drivers Licence (Manual).
  • Operating Volvo IT Integrated Tool Carrier (or willingness to learn).
  • Working at heights (or willingness to learn).
  • South Australian Electrical Licence.
  • Electrical Trade Certificate.
  • Demonstrated experience with an electrical trade background within a heavy industrial, mining resources or minerals processing environment.
  • Good understanding of interactions between mining and other site functions such as projects, construction, maintenance and processing.
  • Experience in design and installation of LV electrical reticulation.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to identify dependencies between tasks and activities.
  • Ability to develop Certificates of Compliance and other technical documents such as as-built drawings.
  • Good reporting and communication skills.
  • Intermediate level of computer literacy (MS Office Suite of programs).
