Location: Carrapateena, South Australia (60-minute flight from Adelaide / 30-minute flight from Port Augusta)
Roster: 8 days on; 6 days off
Reporting to: Superintendent - Production
How You Will Create Impact
The Senior Engineer – Mine Production is responsible for carrying out mine production improvement projects, as well as optimising production systems and processes, whilst being a leader amongst the Team.
- Mentor and develop the Production Engineering Team in a leading capacity.
- Operational Readiness mine production projects for the production ramp up in CY24 – relating to the crusher 2 project milestone.
- Sub-Level Cave (SLC) production improvement projects.
- Maintain production management documents and systems including guidelines.
- Continuous improvement of the site's safety, environment and community relations performance.
- Sub-contractor management.
- In all aspects, producing high-quality work and ownership of the outcome.
What We Value
- Education and qualification in Mining Engineering.
- Significant experience in D&B and production reporting.
- Experience in mine design, scheduling and production activities.
- Project management experience.
- Underground practical experience.
- Previous experience with Deswik.
- SLC experience desirable.
