About the role
Reporting into the Learning & Development (L&D) Lead, this role will support the delivery of the learning strategy by ensuring we have the right digital systems and managing vendors and key stakeholders who deliver those systems. The L&D Partner will ensure L&D delivers reliable and effective L&D Systems.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring L&D have the right digital learning platforms and systems to deliver the L&D Framework.
- Leading digital/learning system projects which may involve implementation, upgrade, or maintenance.
- Managing and negotiating vendor contracts and relationships.
- Implementing Frameworks and processes to ensure accurate training data.
- Internal and external stakeholder engagement.
- Lead L&D in Pacific National wide projects.
- Represent L&D in Pacific National wide projects including safety, IT, rostering, and transformation projects.
- Leading L&D projects related to continuous improvement including L&D frameworks, processes & procedures and LMS upgrade.
- Audit preparation for rail and training related matters.
Who are we looking for?
As an experienced Learning and Development (L&D) Partner you will have an appetite for continuous learning in training and assessment, project management or quality management processes. You will have the ability to work autonomously where required and a successful track record of implementing change management processes.
The successful candidate will need:
- Experience in a similar role, ideally within a rail or transport industry.
- Certificate IV in training and assessment and/or Certificate IV in Train Driving (desirable).
- Rail operations and/or compliance experience.
- Consultation, collaboration, and excellent negotiating skills.
- Passion for digital systems and data management.
- Proven ability to build procedures, frameworks and learning solutions with system optimisation focus.
- Knowledge of ONRSR and ASQA requirements.
- Confident communication and the ability to influence around digital and data optimisation.
