About the role
We currently have several positions available for experienced Terminal Operators to join our team on a basis at our Enfield depot. The role will see you responsible for the coordination, planning, efficient assembly and dismantling of trains within the depot.
Key responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):
- Shunting and train examination duties associated with the arrival, departure, marshalling and preparation of trains.
- Performing inspection of trains and equipment during train operations.
- Operating Pacific National motor vehicles as required.
- Ensuring security and general housekeeping is maintained throughout the area of responsibility.
About your experience
Successful candidates will display a strong regard to safety, demonstrate a positive and proactive attitude and be capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates must be able and willing to work a 24/7 rotating roster.
In addition, you will possess the following:
- A current Class C Drivers Licence
- Exceptional commitment to safety
- Proven strong customer service focus
- Flexible attitude towards shift work
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Good mechanical aptitude
- High risk forklift license (LF) would be advantageous
