We are seeking an experienced Supervisor to join our team in Kalgoorlie team. This role provides leadership and direction to train crew while coordinating day‑to‑day operational activities in a fast‑paced, safety‑critical environment.

You will drive a strong safety culture, support continuous improvement, and ensure our services run safely, efficiently and on time. You will also manage training for new employees and ensure existing crew maintain competency.

What You’ll Do

Provide operational leadership to ensure safe, efficient and reliable train crew performance

Reporting to the Superintendent, you will:

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate a safety-focused team to ensure efficient and reliable train crew performance in a shiftwork environment.
• Maintain operational oversight and effective communication with train crew to ensure compliance with network access regulations and safety standards.
• Develop team capability through coaching, mentoring, and safety leadership to meet operational demands.
• Implement and communicate safety instructions, including driver regular driver performance assessments and safety observations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency
• Manage operational incidents and ensure appropriate investigation and follow‑up

What You’ll Bring

• Demonstrated experience leading teams in an operational environment
• Strong safety focus with the confidence to challenge and influence positive change
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships
• Previous experience in large-scale transport, logistics, or heavy industry or rail/transport sector highly regarded
• Knowledge of HSE management systems and practical implementation of safety initiatives
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Ability to foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and high performance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve operational challenges effectively
