Every day we transport millions of tonnes of critical freight around the country for our customers. We haul coal, intermodal containers, steel, and bulk commodities that keep Australia moving.

An opportunity has presented itself for a Service Delivery Specialist to join our team in Newcastle.

What You’ll Do

Drive operational excellence initiatives to improve service performance and supply chain outcomes across our network.

Reporting to the Superintendent Service Delivery, you will:

  • Deliver operational change programs that improve supply chain and service performance
  • Develop and execute project plans using a risk-based approach to system and process improvements
  • Support planning and logistics activities to minimise operational disruptions
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, industry partners and co-service providers to align systems and processes
  • Monitor, analyse and report on performance metrics to drive continuous improvement

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in logistics, rail operations, emergency services or other dynamic operational environments
  • Knowledge of supply chain methodologies (e.g. Theory of Constraints) and continuous improvement principles
  • Proven ability to deliver change programs and projects effectively
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence working across multiple systems, reporting tools and governance frameworks
