Every day, Pacific National moves the goods that keep Australia moving – from intermodal containers to coal, steel, and bulk commodities. We’re now looking for a safety-focused, hands-on Toplift Forklift Operator to join our team at the Tennyson Depot.
This is your opportunity to be part of a high-performing team that plays a vital role in loading and unloading freight safely and efficiently.
What You’ll Do
- Operate specialised load lifting equipment to move freight on and off trains and wagons
- Plan and execute safe load movements using Toplift Forklifts and other terminal equipment
- Identify load characteristics and secure equipment after use
- Complete reports and maintenance logs as required
- Work a rotating 12-hour shift roster including days, nights, and weekends
What You’ll Bring
- Heavy forklift licence (essential)
- CV High Risk Licence
- Full Driver’s Licence
- General computer proficiency
- Experience in transport, logistics or rail (advantageous)
- Safety-first mindset and strong accountability
- Team player with a proactive attitude
