Join Pacific National – Australia’s largest private rail freight operator
Every day we transport millions of tonnes of critical freight around the country for our customers. We’re now looking for a safety-focused Terminal Operator to join our Brisbane Freight Terminal team. This role is vital in ensuring efficient train assembly and dismantling, freight processing, and safe terminal operations.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate and plan train assembly and dismantling within the terminal
- Operate Reach Stacker and undertake forklift and shunting activities
- Process freight and documentation in a computerised system
- Conduct train examinations and brake testing
- Adhere to all safe-working and operating procedures
What You’ll Bring
- Safety mindset – we bring safety into every moment, every interaction, every day
- Reach Stacker licence
- Full Driver’s licence
- General computer proficiency
- Experience in train inspection, ground shunt and trackside safety (preferred)
- Previous experience in logistics, transport or rail industry (advantageous)
Full training provided – bring a positive attitude, we’ll teach the rest.
