An exciting opportunity has become available for a Commercial Vehicle Specialist to join our team. We are open to candidates based in different locations across Australia, giving you flexibility while making a national impact.

What You’ll Do

Reporting to the Commercial Fleet Manager, you will play a key role in optimising fleet performance, ensuring compliance, and driving safety outcomes across Pacific National’s light, heavy vehicle and trailer fleet nationwide.

You will:

  • Lead the optimisation of telematics and Driver Drowsiness Detection Technology (DDT)
  • Ensure fleet compliance across registration, insurance, safety and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate fleet data and deliver reporting to support decision-making
  • Analyse driver behaviour and GPS data to improve safety and efficiency outcomes
  • Partner with operations and safety teams to identify risks and resolve fleet-related issues
  • Support vehicle specifications, replacement programs, and site-based improvements

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in fleet management, transport, logistics or a similar environment
  • Strong understanding of compliance, safety systems and telematics
  • Ability to analyse data and translate insights into practical improvements
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and a collaborative approach
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to manage priorities and work independently
  • Willingness to travel nationally for site inspections and stakeholder engagement
