Pepsi Lipton is a joint venture between Unilever and PepsiCo to manufacture and sell Ice-Tea branded products around the world. Two of our biggest brands, Lipton and Pure Leaf are worth over $1 billion in Retail Sales Value.

We have an excellent opportunity become available covering Parental Leave for 6 months based in Sydney. The Marketing Manager will be in-charge of implementing the brand strategy defined for the markets and leading key brand initiatives to drive its performance.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The role works in close partnership with the AMESAA Marketing Director. The role also works closely with regional Insights, commercial leads and cross functional teams.

  • Lead and deliver against Brand Communication Strategy of seeding the Ice-Tea category
    • Lead the development of 360 Integrated Brand Communication, that works across all countries in the region
    • Drive for leading edge digital, activation and media planning to drive cut through for a niche, small brand
    • Lead regional LIT Innovation Projects, on core and opportunities
  • Driving Business Alignment
    • Leading discussions with the bottlers marketing team, to ensure alignment on brand plans
    • Drive implementation of the brand plans by working closely with the bottlers and Pepsico system
  • Driving white space entry strategy into new channels / cohorts

ABOUT YOU

  • Strong experience in Marketing, particularly previous experience with innovation management and digital marketing
  • Strong influencing and people management skills - ability to engage/motivate colleagues and stakeholders behind a project
  • Strong discipline of deploying 360 marketing programmes
  • Proven ability to manage a matrix organization (cross-functional / cross-border)
  • With the stage of business in ANZ, we need someone with high accountability and responsibility and proven track record of success in big scale projects
