To continue our success, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Fitter on day shift.

This role is suited to somebody who has experience in Industrial Fitter work, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

Details:

  • Tingalpa-based location
  • Full Time Permanent - Day Shift - Monday To Friday 6:30am-2:30pm.
  • $53.87 per hour
  • Recruitment Process: Phone conversation with recruitment advisor, Onsite interview with manager, Background & pre-employment medical checks, Decision

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform trouble shooting, planned preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance on plant and equipment.
  • Perform work in a professional, timely and safe manner following all PepsiCo standards and procedures.
  • Assist to identify, document and implement improvements to maintenance work methods and procedures, as well as to plant and equipment, to improve machine availability, quality and safety.

About You:

  • Mechanical Engineering qualifications to Trade Certificate 3 as a minimum (a Boiler Certificate advantageous).
  • Experience in troubleshooting and fault finding to solve problems using a systematic approach.
  • Experience in preventative maintenance within an FMCG food industry.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work autonomously and safely under pressure.
