To continue our success, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Lab Coordinator.

This role will support the Quality Manager in leading the site in Quality Systems and processes through the consultation and empowerment of front-line teams to ensure testing and quality procedures are understood and executed correctly.

The Central Laboratory Coordinator will also be responsible for the coordination of daily activities for the Central Laboratory Technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Technical Expertise regarding execution of all Quality Systems
• Maintaining and continuously improving the Company’s quality and HACCP systems.
• Quality/analytical instrument calibration and maintenance
• Train appropriate plant personnel in Quality program execution
• Maintaining a vital information link between team members and management

About you:

• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of manufacturing and/or Supply Chain (FMCG) functions and snack food processes;
• Proven experience in collaborating, consulting and influencing stakeholders in all levels of an organisation.
• Good working knowledge of food safety and sanitation theories.
• Change management / project management experience across a broad audience;
• Tertiary qualification in quality systems, food science and Technology, science or a related discipline is desirable.
• Supervisory or Management experience essential
