About Us:
Welcome to The Perth Mint, where golden career opportunities await.
The Perth Mint is an iconic Western Australian organisation operating on a truly global scale. Situated in East Perth for over 125 years, The Perth Mint is a premier tourist destination, an award-winning exporter, and a key supplier of precious metals to markets throughout the world. Our purpose is âto bring the wonder of precious metals to the worldâ.
Thereâs no organisation quite like it, with a variety of roles available, from engineers and chemists to artists and technicians.
The Opportunity:
Weâre looking for someone to join our Refinery Maintenance team in a full-time, permanent role - someone whoâs ready to step in, take ownership, and help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.
This is a hands-on support role where your ability to stay organised, communicate clearly, and keep things moving will make a real difference. Youâll be working closely with contractors, coordinating tasks across departments, and helping the team stay on top of the day-to-day flow of work. From managing documents and tracking expenses to following up on quotes and ensuring vendors are cleared to attend site, your contribution will be essential.
If youâre someone who enjoys being the person others rely on, takes pride in doing things properly, and wants to be part of a team that values consistency and care - weâd love to hear from you.
About You:
Youâre someone whoâs dependable, detail focused, and comfortable juggling a few things at once. Youâve likely worked in a support role before, and you know how to keep things on track without letting the small stuff slip through the cracks.
Youâre confident using systems and tools to stay organised, and youâre happy working with others - whether itâs following up with contractors, liaising across departments, or making sure everythingâs documented and accounted for. Youâre someone who listens carefully, communicates clearly, and understands the importance of doing things safely and responsibly. Youâre also someone whoâs mindful of the environment around you, you take safety seriously, and you speak up when something doesnât feel right.
If youâve got a Certificate III or IV in Business, thatâs great - but if youâve got the experience and the mindset, weâre keen to hear from you either way.
This is a role for someone who wants to be part of a team that values effort, trust, and quiet excellence. If that sounds like you, we encourage your application.
