The Opportunity:
We’re after someone who’s switched on, dependable, and takes pride in keeping things safe. This is a full-time opportunity, with two 18-month fixed term positions available, based at our Refinery site near the Perth Airport.
You'll be part of the team responsible for protecting our people, assets, and operations, helping ensure the site remains secure, safe, and running smoothly. You'll be comfortable working behind the scenes, monitoring site activity, managing access and responding when something needs attention. From monitoring security systems to supporting emergency situations, your role will be an important part of our day-to-day operations.
It's a role with plenty of variety, and while some days might be routine, others will keep you on your toes. If you're someone who likes being trusted to get things done, enjoys working as part of a close-knit team, and takes pride in doing things properly, this could be a great fit.
About You:
You have completed a Certificate II in Security Operations, hold a Senior First Aid Certificate, and have a valid Security Officer and Crowd Control Licence. You're confident managing access control, monitoring CCTV systems and maintaining a strong security presence across a busy operational site.
You're calm under pressure, approachable and confident communicating with a wide range of people. You know when to step in, when to escalate and when to simply keep a watchful eye on what's happening around you. You're the type of person who notices the small details, follows through on tasks, and can be relied upon to do what's required.
You take safety seriously, understand the importance of confidentiality and appreciate the role security plays in protecting people, operations, and assets. Whether it's assisting a colleague, responding to an incident, or providing a reassuring presence on site, you're someone others can count on.
