The Opportunity:
We’re looking for someone who’s ready to step into a role where independence and judgment really matter. This is a permanent, full-time position based at our East Perth office, with occasional travel out to our refinery near the Perth Airport. Likely commencing in January, it’s a chance to be trusted with responsibility and to make a real impact on how we manage our suppliers and contracts.
You’ll be the person who keeps things moving - working out priorities, managing relationships, and making sure our suppliers deliver what they promise. Some days will be about detail, like onboarding or reviewing performance, while others will be about stepping back and spotting opportunities to improve how we work. It’s a role that blends structure with variety, and it suits someone who enjoys being relied on, who likes seeing the bigger picture, and who takes pride in doing things properly.
About You:
You’re someone who knows how to build strong supplier relationships and keep them on track. You don’t need to have written contracts yourself, but you’ve got solid experience in supplier or vendor management, and you understand what it takes to balance accountability with collaboration. You’re confident working independently, able to set priorities without needing direction, and you’re comfortable moving between detail and strategy.
You’re calm, professional, and good with people. You notice the small things, you follow through, and you know how to keep relationships steady while still asking the tough questions when something doesn’t look right. You take compliance seriously, but you also care about improvement - about making processes smarter, more efficient, and more sustainable. Whether it’s supporting a teammate, reviewing a supplier, or helping a business unit get the most from a contract, you’re someone others can count on.
Ideally, you’ll also bring substantial procurement experience in a highly regulated environment, contract management, and ERP systems. A tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Procurement, or a related field would be ideal, but what matters most is your ability to bring clarity, confidence, and care to supplier management.
