About the team
Private Business and Family Advisory (PBFA) is one of the largest divisions within Pitcher Partners Melbourne. You will be surrounded by driven, friendly and collaborative team. You have the opportunity to work closely with our clients and assist with the day-to-day operations of their business and advisory requirements.
About the role
Within Private Business and Family Advisory team you will support a client base with a diverse range of accounting, advisory and tax services advice. Your day will be a mix of technical support and business advice. You will have direct reports to manage and mentor.
Key responsibilities
Preparing and reviewing financial statements and income tax returns.
Preparing and reviewing Business Activity Statements and Income Activity Statements.
Assisting with year-end tax planning and compliance.
Providing team members with ‘on the job’ training.
General Accounting, Tax and Business Advice.
Preparation and delivery of performance reviews for any direct reports.

CA or CPA qualified accountant with various years’ experience working in a professional service firm.
Being decisive, showing initiative and taking responsibility for actions and task completion.
As a leader you enjoy mentoring staff and can easily collaborate and interact with key internal and external stakeholders.
