Meet your team

Our high performing Risk and Procurement Advisory team provides auditing, compliance and assurance advisory to our clients. As a Project Analyst, you will work on client engagements to provide data analysis, Value for Money reporting, cost auditing, compliance and assurance reviews on large infrastructure projects in the government/public sector.

About the role

In this role you will be reviewing the monthly/quarterly/yearly costs of large infrastructure projects. This includes preparation and use of data analysis of accounting general ledger transactions, documentation reviews, such as copies of invoices, legal contracts and other relevant project policies and procedures, and report writing to demonstrate to the client of the review results, insights obtained and actions required to enhance value and demonstrate contract compliance.

Key responsibilities

  • Reviewing the non-financial area of these large infrastructure projects, including Key Results Area (KRA) review or Key Performance Index (KPI) Review. This includes documentation review in various areas of the projects, such as safety, communication and efficiency areas. This includes analysing KRA/KPI scores and payments for the KRA/KPI performance, and report wiring to demonstrate to the clients of the review results.
  • Assisting with the pricing, tendering process and negotiation process of large infrastructure projects, including work in Excel, such as building pricing templates, and assisting in drafting the commercial terms in the legal documents.
  • Evaluating the pricing tender responses, including work in Excel ,such as comparing the prices between tender respondents for large infrastructure projects, and writing report to demonstrate the review results.

Relevant skills

You have previous work experience, ideally in working with Excel, cost accounting, data analysis or business/financial analysis. You are comfortable of using and learning Excel, Power Query, Power BI, processing large accounting data, as well as reviewing documents, such as legal contracts, and management plans, and writing reports.

A passion for data analysis

You enjoy constant learning no matter whether it is Excel, Power BI, accounting knowledge, accounting software, legal contracts, data analysis, or learning about a particular new client or a new project. You also don’t mind repetitive work, such as monthly/quarterly/yearly audits of the same clients.

Future focussed

You are happy to work in a growing team to build good relationships with other team members, improve current processes, flexible in any tasks given and able to make a positive impact to the people and clients you are working with.
