Meet your team
The Risk and Procurement Advisory (‘RAPA’) team provide outsourced internal audit services, specialist Cyber Risk services that assist in undertaking specialised IT engagements, and procurement advisory services.
Internal audit aims to assist organisations achieve their objectives, by assessing their activities and risks and making recommendations for their improvement. To do this, the team works closely with our clients to develop a program of internal audits based on the strategic needs of the organisation.
Procurement advisory aims to support our government sector clients to undertake their procurements in a manner that achieves value for money.
About the role
The experienced internal auditor will be responsible for the execution of internal audit and risk-based engagements for our clients. They will take on a team lead position during the execution of the internal audit engagement while working with a manager and partner as well as leading junior staff.
The position requires strong internal audit technical skills as well as client management and communication as it is a client facing role.
The expected internal audits are expected to cover diverse topics ranging from back-office administration (e.g. Payroll, Procurement, Accounts Payable) to bespoke operational areas and core business (e.g. NDIS, Asset management, Funding management, Business Continuity Planning).

Related tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, Law Science, Engineering or I.T and demonstrated experience in internal audit execution and professional standards.
Great communicator, and able to effectively influence and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Critical analytical thinker, with strong problem-solving abilities. You are detail orientated but able to clearly summarise key issues and express them simply.

The minimum salary package for this role is $81,000 package.
