About the team
The People Experience team at Pitcher Partners is a multifaceted group dedicated to attracting and retaining talent while ensuring every employee’s journey is engaging, aspirational, and rich with learning opportunities. Structured across five specialisations; Business Partnering, Reward and People Services, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and Employee Experience & Engagement, the team delivers strategic initiatives, leadership development, wellbeing programs, and seamless onboarding to empower people and the firm to thrive.
About the role
Reporting to the Director, Reward and People Services, this specialist role within the People Experience team is responsible for optimising Workday as the firm’s core HCM and Payroll platform, ensuring its functionality supports strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. It plays a key role in both the implementation phase; partnering with internal teams and Workday, and in ongoing management, including dashboard development, issue resolution, and process enhancements. The role also supports reporting, compensation cycles, and cross-functional collaboration to maximise Workday’s impact across the firm.
Key responsibilities
- Optimise Workday functionality to support business decisions and improve efficiency across the People Experience team during both implementation and post go-live phases.
- Act as a Workday super user, sharing expertise and supporting other specialist functions to deliver programs of work.
- Develop and maintain reporting dashboards in Workday, including building monthly reports for practice groups and supporting the compensation cycle.
- Manage vendor relationships and system updates, partnering with IT and Workday to handle releases and enhancements.
- Resolve Workday issues and improve processes, including triaging stakeholder queries, monitoring data quality, and leading small projects and enhancements.

- Experienced Workday user with a background in HR or related discipline, capable of optimising system functionality to support strategic decision-making.
- Skilled in business process improvement, reporting, and project management, with the ability to build dashboards and support compensation cycles.
- Confident communicator and collaborator, able to partner across teams and act as a Workday super user to support and train others.
- Demonstrates a growth mindset, resilience, and a proactive approach to resolving system issues and driving continuous improvement.
