About the team
We provide outsource finance and administrative services to a wide range of clients in varying industries including infrastructure and asset management, retail, finance and technology. While acting as the outsource finance provider we are exposed to all aspects of our client’s businesses allowing us to gain valuable insight.
In this role you will be managing your own client engagements, reviewing and at times preparing standard month end procedures, ad hoc project work like financial modelling and managing junior staff members.
About the role

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with team members while building strong relationships with our clients.
These connections will serve as the foundation for developing your business acumen and problem-solving abilities.
Key responsibilities
- Preparation and review of periodic management accounts and reconciliation packs in line with client reporting deadlines.
- Assistance with analysis, interpretation and communication of financial results, including the use of proprietary software applications.
- Preparation and review of technical accounting position papers and income tax returns.
- Financial modelling, preparation of 3-way financial budgets, reforecasts and cash flow forecast.
- Mentoring and being available to other staff and other team members as required.
Who we’re after

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Accounting, or something similar. You have also completed, or are currently studying towards your CA or CPA.
- Accounting experience (in a professional services or industry environment is desirable)
- Experience in any of the following is desireable: Xero, NetSuite, MYOB Advanced, SAP, Excel, VBA, Python, Power BI, Reckon APS, CaseWare
