About the team
The Practice Management Group consists of Operations, Information Technology (IT), Finance, Administration, People Experience and Client Experience.
The focus of the IT Services team is to ensure that all employees have the necessary ICT equipment, infrastructure and support to operate efficiently, while enabling automation and innovation.
About the role
The IT Service Delivery Manager, is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of IT services by the Service Desk Operations, managing vendor contracts, supplier engagements, and compliance with ITIL practices. This role oversees financial administration for the IT and PMO teams, including budgeting, procurement, and cost tracking, while maintaining accurate asset and configuration records (CMDB). The role will monitor consumption and spending, provide operational, management, risk and performance reporting, and manage audits and client technology questionnaires. Additionally, the role facilitates the onboarding of new software and solutions, ensuring security and policy compliance to support the organisation’s technology strategy
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day‑to‑day operations of the IT Service Desk, driving service improvements, delivering regular performance reporting, and fulfilling Problem Manager responsibilities.
- Oversee IT procurement, asset lifecycle management, and maintenance of accurate configuration and asset records (CMDB) in line with organisational policies.
- Manage IT vendor and supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, ITIL practices, and organisational standards.
- Provide financial oversight across IT and PMO functions, including budgeting, procurement approvals, spend tracking, and exception analysis.
- Monitor IT consumption and cost trends to identify risks, optimise spend, and support informed operational and management decision‑making.
- Coordinate IT compliance activities, audits, and client technology questionnaires, and support the secure onboarding of new software and solutions in line with security and policy requirements.
