About the team
We provide outsource finance and administrative services to a wide range of clients in varying industries including infrastructure and asset management, retail, finance and technology. While acting as the outsource finance provider we are exposed to all aspects of our client’s businesses allowing us to gain valuable insight.
About the role
In this role you will manage your own portfolio of clients, varying from basic bookkeeping with opportunity to perform or learn more complex accounting skills, problem-solving and assisting with client queries. Top organisation skills and a calm outlook are a must for this role
Key responsibilities
- Accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and receivables, bank reconciliations, maintaining general ledgers and assist with client queries.
- Preparation of periodic Business Activity Statements, Instalment Activity Statements, and other statutory returns.
- Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Being able to consider and problem solve any issues that arise.
- Assisting with cloud-base services and disbursements.
Who we’re after

- Previous bookkeeping is preferred but not essential, AR/AP or accounts administration experience or currently studying your Cert IV and aspire to be a Bookkeeper.
- Familiarity with relevant software (examples include Xero, QuickBooks and MYOB).
- High attention to detail and organised, whilst demonstrating the ability to effectively manage conflicting tasks and remaining calm under pressure
- Great communication skills to enable seamless liaison with clients and staff alike
- A hunger for learning different processes and skills
