Your opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Manager - Technology & Digital, you will play a key role in assisting the business with the support of Port of Newcastle’s information systems and digital projects, across their cloud-first technology environment, transformational projects, investment in digital innovation and business improvement initiatives.
You’ll lead and plan the system enhancements, systems administration and integration of applications across core technology including TechnologyOne platforms. You’ll work closely with the business to elicit and translate business requirements into technical solutions, therefore a high level of stakeholder engagement is essential.
You’ll assist in the implementation of digital solutions to ensure business continuity as well as meeting future requirements around automation, digitalisation, Internet of Things (IoT), and Artificial Intelligence (AI), as the business grows and adapts to a changing industry.
About you
An experienced business systems analyst, you’ll have demonstrated experience liaising with end-users and all levels of the business to translate business requirements into appropriate digital specifications and solutions for complex technology environments.
You will demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of key technology frameworks and standards and have a passion for solving complex business problems.
You’ll have experience, helping to drive continuous improvements to ensure the IT function is delivering optimal technology solutions for business, and possess well-developed project planning, problem-solving and analysis skills. A high level of requirements documentation and the ability to evaluate software solutions is required.
You are an excellent communicator who enjoys working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to understand digital technology requirements, and build relationships with ease across the organisation, working also with vendors and external partners to derive value for the business.
TechnologyOne, Salesforce or Tableau experience will be highly regarded, as will experience with finance systems, BI and SQL.
