About the Role:
Reporting to the Head of Digital Innovation, you will engage stakeholders across the organisation to deliver an innovation pipeline of initiatives that contributes to our organisational strategic goals. The Digital Innovation Lead will work alongside the Digital Research & Development team, the Digital product teams, and the IT group to achieve these objectives.
What you’ll deliver:
- Design experiments and prototypes to test concepts, in line with the Digital Innovation R&D framework
- Analyse and present experiment outcomes to stakeholders, at all levels, to retire concepts or secure investment to scale solutions
- Play and active role in working groups to develop and maintain infrastructure management, customer engagement and service delivery strategies
- Build and manage relationships with the Digital Innovation group, the broader Strategy and Customer group (S&CG), CitiPower, Powercor and United Energy internal data suppliers and external service providers
- Contribute to annual operational and capital forecasts to support the annual budget process
To succeed in this role you’ll have:
- Experience managing design activities with direct involvement from organisational stakeholders
- Experience managing or influencing software development teams
- Strong team management skills, working with diverse and inclusive teams
- Good computer literacy to enable preparation of reports, storage, and retrieval of test data, transfer of files and using software tools
- Good risk management skills including hazard identification, hazard mitigation and incident management process knowledge
- Qualification in management, digital marketing, information systems, customer engagement or engineering desired but not essential
