Job Summary

To support these projects we currently have a permanent career opportunity for an experienced Project Scheduler to optimise project management time performance and control to contribute towards the resource optimisation of the delivery portfolio of projects.
About the role
You will use your relevant experience to support our project managers in the planning and scheduling of large complex construction projects within a project delivery environment to optimise our resource management, project time performance and control.
- Plan and schedule large complex construction projects within a project delivery environment.
- Create initial project schedule, including managing dependencies, resource assignments, baselining and critical path analysis
- Earned value analysis, particularly with regards to Schedule Performance Index (SPI).
- Provide technical expertise, training and mentoring in the use of scheduling software and tools.
- Conduct detailed analysis of projects to ensure quality and accuracy of data and information, identifying any deviations or trends.
- Continually review the risk and opportunities registers to ensure key items are captured in the schedules.
- Assist in the development of robust schedule processes and templates.
In this critical project support role you will ensure that projects are planned and scheduled according to:
- Agreed project management methodologies (PMBOK),
- Project management processes and tools
- Resource and cost control optimisation of the delivery portfolio of projects
About you
Knowledge and Skills:
- Significant experience scheduling multiple large complex construction projects.
- Expert with scheduling software including MS Project and Primavera P6.
- Significant experience of critical path methodology and earned value management to ensure, and communicate, timely delivery of milestone tasks.
- Program and portfolio management is desirable.
- Strong stakeholder management - Internal/External.
- High attention to detail, with excellent analytical skills and the ability to detect data inaccuracies.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise competing demands, handle multiple complex tasks, and simultaneously set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Project Management or other related lessor qualification if coupled with significant experience within a project delivery environment.
