About the role
You will lead a small team of three professionals with both technical and commercial backgrounds.
You will be accountable for the development of access policy and pricing that meets market expectations and is compliant to the National Electricity Rules.
Your success will come as your team develop access policies that are nation leading, attract investment to QLD and increase investment certainty for developers, as well as manage all connection enquiries and compliance with the National Electricity rules.
About you
Your success in this role will rely on you utilising your well-developed skills in fostering relationships and influencing senior stakeholders on a range of complex technical, legislative access requirements, regulatory or policy matters to support strategic outcomes.
Your prior success in leading a team of high performing professionals within a complex and changing environment, is supported by your degree-level qualification in Engineering, Business, Economics or Finance or related discipline, coupled with substantial experience within the electricity sector.
Leading by example to create an environment that is psychologically safe and fosters innovation, you will apply your ability to solve complex problems and coach others in a customer focused, solutions-oriented approach.
Your depth of knowledge has allowed you to identify key issues informed by political, regulatory or commercial changes, and to identify opportunities and influence the direction representing multiple interests in negotiating with customers and key stakeholders.
