About the role
It is an exciting time to be part of the energy networks industry and especially at Powerlink, as we help shape energy transformation in Queensland and Australia.
Our service and assets are part of Australian Critical infrastructure and this opportunity to join the OT Cyber Security Team will help protect Powerlink’s considerable asset base from a dynamic cyber security threat landscape.
You will be working with and reporting to Bruce Large, who has been settling into the role of OT Cyber Security Team Leader. He is leading an exciting program of works that requires the best cyber security talent available. Is that you?
You could see yourself as the OT Application and Infrastructure Cyber Security Specialist, who will ensure the safe and secure operation of Operational Technology Applications and Infrastructure.
About you
Your degree qualifications are in Engineering, or Information Technology combined with capabilities in security operations; or lower level qualification combined with significant professional experience in relevant cyber security fields.
You also hold Cyber security industry accreditations e.g. CISSP, GIAC, Security+, CCNA or CCNA Security.
You do not need to have a deep expertise in Operational Technology, Bruce is confident he can mentor and support you as long as you have a passion to learn and a passion for Security Operations.
