We’re growing! Powerlink will be playing a critical role in delivering the Queensland Energy Plan over the coming years and as a result of an internal promotion we have a 24-month fixed term opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to facilitate and lead Powerlink’s Performance and Succession projects.
In this role you will partner with the People and Culture teams to coordinate and provide support, advice and assistance to the business on Performance and Succession, in particular the Powerlink framework and project timeframes.

About you
Your drive to provide high quality strategic HR support across a diverse range of human resources matters is reflected in your comprehensive HR generalist background, proven experience delivering multiple HR initiatives and managing stakeholders at a variety of levels.
You will demonstrate success in:
- Implementing performance strategies and frameworks that align with broader organisational strategy.
- Planning and leading annual performance review process that support employees and managers in timely delivery of outcomes while ensuring the aims of the review process are achieved.
- Coaching leaders and employees on performance and engagement, to empower solution-focused problem-solving and positive people outcomes for teams, divisions and the organisation more broadly.
- Working collaboratively with People and Culture teams to identify business issues and develop solutions through analysis and interpretation of key human resources metrics by partnering with the Analytics team to contribute to the provision of relevant and real time data to address people trends that could impact on business outcomes.
- Working in a complex and diverse organisation and operate in a supportive manner by coaching staff on HR principles and practices.
- Building strong collaboration skills with specialist support functions to provide a successful and holistic service to the business
Qualifications and Experience:
- You will have a degree level qualification in Human Resource Management or similar, or a lower-level qualification coupled with significant experience in human resource practice.
- This position will see you play an instrumental part in the development and roll out of SAP Success Factors - Talent Management (SAP HCM experience is highly desirable).
