About the role
We're growing! Powerlink will be playing a critical role in delivering Queensland’s new energy future over the coming years. As a result of an immediate need to support our Marketing & Digital Media Lead we have an exciting permanent, part-time opportunity for an experienced Digital Specialist.
This position will be focused on providing digital and design support services for Powerlink’s external communications and engagement channels including the corporate website, social media and collateral suite.
You will work closely together with our Marketing & Digital Media Lead and will be responsible for delivering projects and campaigns that will make an impact. This is a brand new role within Powerlink and a great opportunity for you to make it your own.
In this role you will:
- Support Powerlink’s project engagement with online promotion of community information sessions, updates to website materials on projects, and set up and timely responses to community queries via Powerlink’s interactive social media channels.
- Deliver social media content and support social media channel moderation and management activities.
- Provide digital support for community investment activities.
- Design corporate and project engagement collateral.
- Collaborate with an established Communications, Customer and Engagement Team with a great team culture.
This is a permanent, part-time role (3 days per week), however, flexible working is a key part of our business and we are happy to discuss what flexibility you will need. You will be based in Virginia and some state-wide travel may be required.
About you
You are an agile digital specialist and will utilise your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to guide Powerlink’s delivery of integrated digital campaigns and activities that raise brand awareness, support growth and enhance the customer experience.
You look forward to collaborating with leaders and specialists on the opportunities and deliverables that this diverse role offers. You have worked in a complex technical organisation with high profile projects and know how to get your head around details quickly to hit the ground running.
To be successful for this brand new role, you will have the following skills, experience and qualifications:
- Prior success in a digital communications or community engagement role.
- Proven ability to develop, monitor and measure effective content to help meet Powerlink’s business objectives.
- Previous experience using digital communication systems e.g. AdobeSuite, website management systems, social media analytics tools, social pinpoint and e-marketing.
- Hands on experience in designing and modifying project engagement collateral such as brochures, fact sheets, posters, maps and PowerPoint presentations.
- Project management and organisational skills with great attention to detail.
- A Degree level qualification in Digital Communications or a related discipline or qualification.
