About the role
One of Powerlink’s key drivers is to become the renewable energy super grid of the future and a leader in the transmission industry. If you have design drafting experience in High Voltage Substations or similar and want to further your a career in Primary Systems Substation design supporting the connection of renewable energy projects to the National Electricity Market, then we want to hear from you.
In this role you will:
- Be responsible for Civil / Structural design drafting activities associated with high voltage substations.
- Deliver practical and high quality drawings that comply with appropriate technical principles, standards and construction practices.
- You work in collaboration with stakeholders and SMEs to develop optimised substation design and solutions in a timely manner.
- Apply your expertise in substation design, construction and maintenance practices and requirements including relevant Australian Standards, Legislative and Contract requirements related to substations.
