Due to the rapid expansion of the recruitment team, we’re thrilled to invite applications for the position of Recruitment Lead, as part of our Talent and Benefits team.

What are we offering?

A newly created role, the Recruitment Lead will ensure the delivery of efficient and high-quality resourcing for Powerlink, prioritising workload and driving efficiencies to deliver strong customer satisfaction, whilst executing day-to-day operational leadership of the recruitment team.

Reporting to the Manager, Talent & Benefits and overseeing a team of 4 to 6 recruiters, you will:

  • Provide guidance, coaching and leadership to team members, supporting the development and improvement of service levels, and customer collaboration to understand the needs of the business.
  • Support hiring leaders with mid-level to high-level end-to-end recruitment activities including the provision of specialist support and advice on recruitment strategies
  • Provide advice on escalated complex issues and interpretation and application of policies and procedures.
  • Manage the efficient operations of recruitment tools and technology (eg. online job boards and Powerlink Recruitment management system)
  • Lead the management of contingent supply recruitment agencies
  • Design and implement improvements to the recruitment process to support the organisations achievement of diverse recruitment outcomes and an inclusive workplace, including hiring leader training.

Who are we looking for?

A seasoned recruiter and energetic self-starter, your experience has equipped with you with strong interpersonal skills and natural business partnership capabilities; showcasing your historical success with enabling strong candidate and customer driven recruitment processes.

Highly-accomplished in creating diverse and dynamic recruitment campaigns, your sourcing skills and candidate engagement experience has seen you deliver a number of domestic and international recruitment campaigns, successfully sourcing challenging-to-fill positions.

With a demonstrated ability to problem-solve and work through diverse and complex hiring challenges, your capacity to plan, organise and prioritise your team’s work enables success through delivering to business demands, negotiating leader outcomes and expectations accordingly.

A considered and influential leader, you are a confident with coaching and leading a team, identifying opportunities for improvement and tailoring your approach to encourage self-accountability through nurturing and professional development.

A degree in HR Management or lesser qualification coupled with significant recruitment experience would be highly desirable.
