About the role
To support these revolutionary changes to the way that electricity is delivered to Queenslanders, we have an exciting new role as a Data Analyst, Modelling and Reporting Specialist to analyse data across Powerlink, to enable informed critical decision making, supporting our Operations and Services Delivery Division and the interactions with the broader Powerlink business.
As our new Data Analyst, Modelling and Reporting Specialist you will undertake strategic data retrieval, orchestration, modelling, analysis and visualisation within the organisation, leveraging leading business intelligence tools and a comprehensive reporting framework for Powerlink Queensland.

About you
Do you have a passion to be part of renewable energy projects, coupled with advanced data analytics & visualisation techniques, experience and skills? You will be highly organised and team-orientated with a strong ability to provide data extraction and analytical services.
Essential to the role:
- Degree level qualifications in Computer / Information Science, Mathematical Sciences, Systems Analysis, Statistical and Data Analysis or a lesser qualification with extensive experience in a related discipline to Business Intelligence.
- Formal certifications in Data and Analytics solutions or equivalent experience.
- Formal certifications in Data and Analytics concepts such as Warehouse Design, Modelling, Visualisation or equivalent experience.
Desirable for the role:
- DAMA certification
