As a Systems Support Specialist you will represent the Strategic Procurement Team in the major system uplift projects for both the SAP4Hana upgrade and the contract lifecycle management system replacement. You will have opportunity to influence process improvement through increased utilisation of technology solutions to support the growing complexities of a transforming procurement function. The fixed-term period will align to the duration of both IT uplift projects with a duration of up to 2 years.
Here’s how:
- You’ll collaborate with all members of the Strategic Procurement Team, contributing to resolving complex problems, and playing a hands-on role in ensuring process requirements are accurately collected and reflected in the system uplift projects.
- You’ll manage the S4Hana upgrade requirements for the Strategic Procurement team in relation to the Supply Chain modules and you will ensure all upgrade activities are fit-for-purpose, aligned to procurement processes, and optimise all opportunities to automate transactions as appropriate.
- You’ll provide SAP system and contract management system coaching and support for the team in the roll-out of the upgraded Supply Chain functionalities.
- You’ll manage the contract lifecycle management system replacement requirements for the Strategic Procurement team in relation to end-to-end contract management.
- You’ll develop strong working relationships with the Procurement Assurance team to ensure extensive knowledge transfer of system uplift outcomes for maximum benefit post projects roll-out.
What you’ll bring
- Degree qualification in Supply, Procurement, Business, Contract Management or a closely related field, or a lesser qualification coupled with equivalent sourcing and contract management experience.
- Demonstrated initiative in your previous experience, with substantial experience in influencing and managing various stakeholders and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in the use of SAP4Hana coupled with other procurement/contract related systems which support sourcing and contract management activities.
- Ability to lead the implementation of new technologies, processes, tools, etc. including the provision of associated coaching, training and mentoring.
- Passion for Procurement and Systems Support and ability to work collaboratively as part of a diverse team.
