As a Senior Spatial Systems Administrator, you’ll help find clever solutions to interesting problems as you grow your skills every day. And you’ll do it with down-to-earth people who you’re proud to work with and get to know.

Here’s how:

  • You will provide technical administration and leadership for spatial systems, configuration and integrations in line with spatial governance standards by adopting the role of Business Application Steward (Spatial)
  • Provide expert technical advice in relation to the spatial architecture, management and maintenance of spatial systems and databases, ensuring effective and efficient integration techniques with other ICT systems across the organisation in collaboration with BIT
  • You will manage, administer and coordinate the ESRI Apps including Field Maps and Survey123. Operating as the administrator of the Spatial mobility solutions, systems and data or ESRI web or map services. Additionally manage ESRI Image Server data services to ensure they meet spatial governance and business expectations as well as appropriate availability to end users
  • You will manage, administer and maintain the FME Flow configuration, workflow performance and continuous optimisation including monitoring and reporting of workflow optimisation as well as setting best practice guidelines for the FME Flow environment
  • You will manage, administer and maintain Powerlink's spatial ArcGIS environments (ArcGIS Portal, ArcGIS Online) to ensure AGOL Credits, Content, Apps, Members, Groups or the environments style is in line with governance, operational and access and security requirements

What you’ll bring

  • A formal qualification in Geographical information systems, Cartography, Spatial Information Science or an equivalent discipline with FME and ESRI suite of products (or similar tools).
  • Demonstrated experience operating in a similar role in other organisations
  • Experience guiding and mentoring staff whilst providing technical leadership.
  • High attention to detail is one of your strengths and you use that skill to produce quality technical solutions.
  • You are comfortable working in a fast paced team environment and know how to prioritise and self-manage changing priorities.
  • You have the confidence to speak up when required and to provide suggested improvements and enhancements to processes.
