Due to the current growth of our organisation, we are looking for multiple experienced Contracts Officers to join our Supply Chain Services team! You will be providing procurement-related administrative support services to the Contracts Services Team and broader business.
This role will see you;
- Supporting various Contract Managers and Owners through high quality contract administration services
- Under the direction of the Contract Services Team Leader, ensuring contract conditions, processes, compliance requirements and systems are maintained and meet Powerlink and regulatory requirements
- Delivering customer focused, accurate and timely contracts claims management services for Powerlink, including contractor payments, issue of payment certificates, variations and extension of times
- Proactively monitoring compliance with relevant aspects of Powerlink’s Conditions of Contract and, as necessary, communicate with internal customers and external suppliers to ensure compliance
- Developing and preparing complex high-quality reports to provide financial contractual information and data (including purchase order data) to facilitate business requirements, including the production of audit reports to ensure compliance with Procurement methodologies, thresholds and key legislative requirements
- Monitoring and maintaining accurate Procurement Contracts data, within Powerlink’s IT systems and interrogating such data for the purposes of benchmarking and measuring of performance
What you’ll bring
- Diploma level qualification in Business, Finance or Contracts or a lesser qualification coupled with considerable experience
- Proven experience providing admin and customer support services in a contracts environment
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and understand commercial conditions in contracts
- Proven ability to engage and coordinate input from key stakeholders, regulatory staff and other subject matter experts
- Demonstrated experience in utilising Contract Management and Financial Systems (e.g. SAP) and advanced functionality of Microsoft Office software
