Programmed Facility Management is seeking experiencedUtility / Bus Driversto join our FIFO teams across multiple established village operations throughout Western Australia.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll spend the majority of your time supporting general village operations, with bus driving forming an important part of your responsibilities.

We're looking for experienced FIFO utility workers who also have strong bus driving experience and are comfortable contributing across a range of operational tasks.

The Opportunity

As aUtility / Bus Driver, you'll support the day-to-day operation of the village while also providing safe and reliable transport for residents and site personnel.

The role is combined utility and bus driving, so we're looking for candidates who genuinely enjoy hands-on village work and are happy to take on driving responsibilities as part of their role.

You'll work as part of a team to maintain high standards across the village, assisting with waste management, grounds maintenance, general upkeep and other operational tasks while providing reliable transport when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support general village utility operations and day-to-day site requirements
  • Complete waste management and general village upkeep
  • Assist with grounds maintenance and basic facility support
  • Transport residents and personnel between required site locations
  • Safely operate buses of up to 52 seats
  • Complete vehicle pre-starts and report any defects or maintenance requirements
  • Maintain vehicles in a clean, safe and operational condition
  • Follow all site, transport and safety procedures
  • Assist with manual handling and physically active tasks as required
  • Support other departments and site teams where required
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe, clean and well-presented village environment

About You

You're an experiencedFIFO utility worker with strong bus driving experiencewho is comfortable taking on a varied, hands-on role.

You understand that this isn't a driving-only position. You'll spend the majority of your time working as part of the village utility team, while your driving experience will be relied upon when transport requirements arise.

You will have:

  • PreviousFIFO utility, village services or minesite experience (Essential)
  • Strong experience driving buses, ideally up to 52 seats
  • Experience working in remote or FIFO environments
  • A strong understanding of workplace safety and site procedures
  • A reliable, team-focused approach and willingness to get involved
  • Ability to undertake physical work including manual handling and outdoor tasks
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a small team
  • A flexible approach and willingness to assist across different areas of village operations

Requirements

  • HR-C Driver's Licence preferred
  • HR-A Driver's Licence will also be considered
  • PTD Authorisation (Essential)
  • Manual driver's licence strongly preferred
  • Previous FIFO / minesite utility experience – essential
  • Strong bus driving experience
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug& alcohol screening
  • Current National Police Check
  • Ability to meet all site-specific access and safety requirements

Location

These positions are based acrossmultiple FIFO village operations throughout Western Australia.

Candidates must bePerth-based and able to fly to site from Perth.
