Working on an 8:6 FIFO roster out of Perth, this role is suited to someone who thrives in a people-focused environment and understands the importance of wellbeing in remote operations.

The Opportunity
As Lifestyle Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for delivering social, recreational, and wellbeing initiatives that enhance the day-to-day experience of residents on site.
This is a hands-on, engagement-focused role, where you’ll connect with a diverse workforce and create opportunities for interaction, recovery, and overall wellbeing in a FIFO environment.
You’ll play a key role in building a positive, inclusive “home away from home” culture across the village.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and deliver social, recreational and sporting activities
- Organise themed events, competitions, and community engagement initiatives
- Deliver fitness and wellbeing programs, including group sessions and recovery-based activities
- Promote upcoming events through communications, calendars, and site engagement
- Support residents with general health, fitness, and wellbeing guidance
- Contribute to site inductions to promote available lifestyle services
- Maintain activity records and provide basic reporting
- Ensure all activities are delivered in line with WHS and site requirements
- Work collaboratively with Village Management and other departments
About You
You’re a people-first professional who enjoys engaging with others and creating a positive, inclusive environment.
You’re confident working independently, building relationships, and delivering initiatives that improve morale and wellbeing in a FIFO setting.
You will have:
- Demonstrated experience in a FIFO or mine site environment (required)
- Background in fitness, wellbeing, recreation, or similar roles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage a diverse workforce and encourage participation
- A proactive, organised approach to planning and delivery
- A genuine passion for health, wellbeing, and community engagement
Requirements
- Full Australian working rights
- Valid C Class Driver’s Licence
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- Current National Police Check (valid within the last 3 months)
- Certificate IV in Fitness (mandatory)
- First Aid & CPR Certification
Location Requirement:
Candidates must be Perth-based (or able to commute to Perth for flights) or reside in Kalgoorlie.
