Programmed Facility Management has recently been awarded new contracts at Tropicana and Sunrise Dam , and we’re expanding our team to support ongoing operations.
This is an opportunity to step into a hands-on leadership role , joining during a key mobilisation phase , while working alongside an established, high-retention crew .
Working on a 2:1 FIFO roster out of Perth , this role is suited to an experienced minesite cleaner ready to take the next step into team leadership and coordination .

The Opportunity
As a Minesite Cleaning Team Lead, you’ll be responsible for coordinating and supporting a team of 4–5 cleaners delivering services across operational mine site facilities.
This is a hands-on role , where you’ll lead from the front working alongside your team while ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
The role will primarily focus on minesite cleaning , with some crossover into village support when required, and will involve a mix of day and night shifts (with a strong likelihood of night shift work) .
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of 4–5 minesite cleaners across daily operations
- Allocate tasks and coordinate work to meet shift targets and schedules
- Perform hands-on cleaning duties across offices, crib rooms, and ablutions
- Ensure all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation
- Monitor and maintain compliance with site safety and cleaning procedures
- Manage stock levels of cleaning materials and equipment
- Report maintenance issues and escalate where required
- Support a positive team culture through leadership and communication
About You
You’re an experienced minesite cleaner who understands the demands of working in an active operational environment , including night shift work.
You’re organised, reliable, and confident stepping into a leadership role while remaining hands-on with your team .
You will have:
- Proven experience in minesite cleaning (required)
- Previous experience in a leading hand or team lead role (highly regarded)
- Strong understanding of site safety requirements and procedures
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role
- Flexibility to work day and night shifts
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A proactive, team-first approach
Requirements
- Full Australian working rights
- Valid C Class Driver’s Licence
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- Current National Police Check (must be clear)
Desirable:
- First Aid
- Experience in FIFO village or site environments
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience
Location Requirement:
Candidates must be Perth-based (or able to commute to Perth for flights) or reside in Kalgoorlie .
